Senior Network Security Engineer
Syntegrity Networks is looking for a Senior Network Security Engineer who is a self-motivated technologist interested in working with best of breed network security products across a variety of industries. The Senior Network Security Engineer is a senior technical support and consulting professional serving as a customer-facing Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Syntegrity and selected Syntegrity partners.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience working in an enterprise-level customer support, escalation, or consulting capacity with a high-technology company in the networking, security, or compliance industries.
- Self-starter that can work independently with a sense of urgency that can also work within a team environment
- Excellent time management, multi-tasking, prioritization, and organization skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem solving skills with a strong sense of customer commitment
- Experience working with TCP/IP, HTTP/S, Load balancers, proxies and firewalls
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of TCP/IP stack protocols (2nd layer and above).
- Experience with layer 7th security appliances highly desired
- Knowledge of current security threats, vulnerabilities and web application attacks.
- Experience with web vulnerability scanners, database assessment tools highly desired
- Experience with PCI, HIPPA or SOX highly desired
- Experience with security risk assessment and mitigation techniques
- Experience with TCP/IP packet analysis.
- Basic knowledge in databases (Oracle, MS SQL, Sybase, DB2) – highly desired
- Basic knowledge in web and application development (JSP, .NET, Ruby, HTML)
- Experience with Linux operating systems
- Knowledge of a scripting languages such as Perl or Shell
- Fluency (Both Written and Oral) in English; additional language fluency in Spanish highly desired
Additional Responsibilities:
Manage the customer relationship and develop the credibility to be recognized as a trusted advisor.Work closely and provide technical support directly to valued customers.Understanding and documenting the customer's requirements, managing expectations, and providing excellent customer service.
Assessing the customer's technical environment, and planning installations and configurations. Writing custom security policies, risk mitigation plans and assessments. Write white papers, tech notes, detailed technical implementation plans, and results of security assessments, as well as other high-level documentation as required.
Provide mentorship to other Network Security Engineers within the Syntegrity team
Required travel (approximately 75% or higher); as needed.
Educational Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred
- Security and network certifications, highly desirable
Account Executive
In this key sales position, the Account Executive is to cultivate new business as well as to manage and leverage existing clientele within Syntegrity's market place. This is a regional travel position. The Account Executive will be responsible for selling Solutions and Integration Services of Syntegrity's partners by interacting with assigned accounts that are either existing customers or prospects within the assigned territory. The Account Executive will apply a broad knowledge of the organization's services, products, and marketing techniques to develop large opportunities and close sales. This highly visible and impactful role will work in tandem with our partners and other reps to successfully develop and service all customers or prospects within their respective geography/territory.Responsibilities:
- Prospect and qualify existing and/or potential customers, within assigned territory
- Identify and close deals with corporate customers through direct selling
- Work in tandem with the Partners and Systems Engineers to inform the customer/prospect and demonstrate Syntegrity's capabilities
- Drive opportunities at the strategic and tactical level
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with client decision makers including maintaining a sales strategy based on customer’s requirements. Direct customer service improvement activities
- Keep informed of new products, services, and other general information of interest to customers, through successful completion of Sales Training and self-study
- Stay informed of customer business opportunities, current conditions, future prospects, active measurements, and competitive issues.
- Responsible for securing new business, additional orders, and maintenance renewal orders for all license and professional services revenue
- Keeps records and generates reports on all phases of activities, including Account Plans and forecasts
- Participates in varied sales activities requiring perseverance, preparation, ingenuity, and responsibility
- Display strong time management skills
- Understand and manage all phases of the sales cycle; ability to handle technical/product inquiries without an SE when needed
- Accurately forecast all territory business utilizing Salesforce.com
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Management, Marketing (or related field) or equivalent experience
- Dynamic, high energy sales professional with 7-10 years successful experience in direct sales, high-level, executive selling of long-cycle products.
- Prior experience as an Sales Engineer a plus I'd spell this out, just for clarity
- Self-motivated and proven ability to drive success and close business in a demanding, yet high energy environment
- Past experience working with and leveraging various channels and partners – VARs, Distribution and Technology Partnerships
- Experience selling enterprise level solutions in the security and compliance markets and selling into IT Operations, CISO, C-Level
- Demonstrated ability to exceed quarterly quota.
- Strong computer, written and interpersonal communications skills.
- Excellent English skills, both written and verbal, REQUIRED
- Experience with Salesforce.com

Marketing Intern
Conceive and deliver on measurable digital marketing campaigns including:
- Web campaigns
- Direct mail campaigns
- Lead generation campaigns
- Social media campaigns and strategy
- Cooperative campaigns with regional and global partners
- Assist in the ongoing development and implementation of Syntegrity brand and communications strategy
- Organize customer and partner events

OpenAm Architect
Syntegrity Networks is seeking an OpenAM Architect to join the existing project team. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge and hands-on experience using former Sun OpenSSO or ForgeRock's OpenAM (single sign-on), Policy agent configuration for a wide range of web and J2EE servers and good knowledge of Tomcat, Glassfish, or other application servers.Responsibilities:
The OpenAM Architect is responsible for delivering internal and customer-facing projects utilizing ForgeRock I3 platform products. This includes:- Working with the customer and internal project team to illicit and understand identity and access management, monitoring, and architectural requirements
- Designing suitable solution architecture to address a variety of business needs and requirements
- Developing criteria for and completing assessments of existing enterprise OpenAM deployments
- Installing/Configuring OpenAM and applicable policy agents for integration into multiple applications via SAML, Oauth, and CDSSO
- Assisting with customizations and/or development of OpenAM and related systems
- Planning and performing testing
- Building recommendations for customer enhancements, including security, reliability, scalability and performance-related changes or other best practices based considerations
- Complying with existing development framework and processes
- Assisting with project planning and customer/relationship management as necessary to ensure project success
- Completing documentation of work
Experience
- 3+ years hands-on experience installing and configuring OpenAM (experience with other access management software may apply)
- Strong background in troubleshooting and issue analysis
- Experience creating requirements, logical/physical design and testing documentation
- Experience with multiple web servers: Tomcat, Apache, IIS, etc.
- Experience with multiple operating systems: Linux, Unix, Windows, etc
- Experience with LDAP authentication
